On the last day of the 1st month of the year, Admitad is inspired to announce the release of Affiliate Report 2020 – the deep study of the trends, significant changes and the future of CPA market. The report covers the data on more than 178 mln online-orders and target actions completed via the Admitad platform in the world in 2019 – featuring all the 9 market segments – from online to finance services. 

In 2019, the total turnover of Admitad advertisers jumped to $5bn, which is a +48,2% YoY growth. Sales in multiple retail categories increased by 20-40% — Electronics, Apparel, Furniture & Homeware. This leap was caused by both the growth of existing affiliate programs and adding new advertisers to the catalog.

Among the traffic channels, the so-called “new media” were demonstrating the biggest growth all over the world: personal blogs, messenger channels, groups in social media and YouTube-blogs provided for the substantial part of advertisers’ sales. Based on Admitad data, in 2019 the turnover of advertisers via these traffic channels reached almost $270m, with an increase of 52% YoY.

The news on the cookie-tracking limitations announced by major browsers influenced the behavior of advertisers: the clients started turning to alternative channels for the promotion of their products and services. We expect 2020 to be the year of the significant increase of new publishers in the total CPA-turnover.
