Admitad acquires Tapfiliate
Late January, Admitad acquired Tapfiliate, the Dutch subscription-based Saas-platform where advertisers can manage their affiliate programs on their own. Tapfiliate will keep its brand and management.
What is Tapfiliate?
Tapfiliate is a SaaS-platform where brands can develop affiliate campaigns on their own accord — choose their publishers, verify orders and make payments. This model proved to be efficient and allowed the company to keep growing even under the Covid crisis, increasing its number of active customers by 33% in 2020.
The company was founded in 2014. It is HQ’d in Amsterdam, and relies heavily on the American market — almost half of Tapfiliate’s clients come from the US.
It was acquired for multiple reasons. Aside from the fact that Tapfiliate has proved its sustainability during 2020, it is expected to work in perfect synergy with Admitad Affiliate Network and make the affiliate industry accessible to businesses of any scale.

As one of Admitad’s key directions, the Affiliate Network has been working with SME clients for 3+ years, so every third client belongs to the SME.
With this acquisition, Admitad intends to increase the number of SME clients, give them the freedom to manage the affiliate program themselves, increase both the number of programs available for Admitad publishers and the number of publishers for Tapfiliate — since almost 40% of the client leakages happen due to lack of publishers.
This is the largest deal in Admitad’s history so far, and we are grateful to every person who made it possible.
Access to Admitad tracking solutions and other tools will allow Tapfiliate to offer more services to more clients — including large enterprises. And the vast network of Admitad publishers — including influencers, media buyers, and tech partners — will assure that Tapfiliate delivers.
